ORSP Announces Staff Changes!
The Office of Research & Sponsored Programs is pleased to announce the addition of two new staff members. Filling these much needed positions will enhance our ability to better serve the University community in securing externally funded grants and contracts. We want to take this opportunity to welcome Kelli Cyrus and Tammy Andrews; we are confident they will be valued assets to the Division. Grant and Contract Manager-Pre-Award Audra Rose has been promoted to Grant and Contract Manger- Pre and Post Award.

Tammy Andrews – Administrative Associate
Tammy Andrews comes to the Office of Research & Sponsored Programs in the position of Administrative Associate. Tammy will assist ORSP staff with day to day operations, and will also manage the Research Challenge program. Tammy holds an Associates Degree in Applied Business from Hocking College, and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in Business from Ohio University. Prior to coming to OU, Tammy was employed by Hocking College in the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs. She began her ten-year career at Hocking as the evening secretary in 1998 and was promoted to Administrative Assistant to the Vice President for Student Affairs.
Kelli Cyrus – Grants and Contracts Manager/Pre-Award
Kelli comes to Ohio University from the Ohio State University and has been hired to fill the Pre-Award Manager position left vacant when Audra Rose was recently promoted. Kelli will assist faculty with proposal preparation and submission, including budget construction, budget justification and documentation, appropriate projections for multi-year budgets, inter-and intra-institutional collaborations, assisting with and processing e-transmittals, electronic forms preparation, and interpretation of and adherence to proposal guidelines. Kelli holds a bachelor’s degree in Human Ecology from OSU, and was employed in the Office of Responsible Research Practices (compliance) while pursuing her degree. While working in that office, Kelli was promoted from a student assistant to the Bio-safety Coordinator. Kelli continued to expand her knowledge in the field of Research Administration by working with the Behavioral and Social Sciences IRB and most recently the Cancer IRB.
Audra Rose – Grants and Contracts Manager, Pre/Post Award
Audra Rose has been promoted to Grants and Contracts Manager, Pre/Post Award. She is responsible for both pre-award and post-award activities. Audra came to the Office of Research and Sponsored Programs in 2004 as an Administrative Associate and was promoted in 2006 to a Grants and Contracts Manager for Pre-Award services. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication and an Associate degree in Arts (Social Science Emphasis), both from Ohio University, and is a Certified Research Administrator (CRA).
